KIT AND KABOODLE & ANIHO

Newsletter January 2025

Hello to all our subscribers. We are very excited to be writing our first newsletter and to have you all with us as we start our new journey. As you are now probably aware we have changed direction. We are no longer a retail shop in Shaftesbury High Street but we are offering weekly workshops from our new location in Suite C at the Trinity Centre at the top of the town located in the old church building. We are very excited about this new journey and are looking forward to providing bespoke workshops for you all to learn new skills or to brush up on existing skills you already have but wish to develop further.

We are pleased to announce that our first workshop will be held on Wednesday the 15th of January 2025 in our new location. This workshop will be a beginners learn to knit/crochet or if you are already accomplished at the basics of knitting or crochet, but are struggling with a project you are working on, then bring it along and you can get help and guidance so you can move forward with your project. The workshop will run from 10am - 12pm and tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. The cost of the workshop will be £20 with an additional charge for any material used. Spaces are limited so please phone Anita on

07889 819410 or email kandkdorset@gmail.com to book your place on the course. If places are full we can put your name down on the reserve list so you can have first choice of the workshop when it is run again.

We have lots of ideas of workshops that we will be running. These include the knit and crochet, sewing of all types from bag making, aprons, cushion covers, basic curtain making, craft bags, make-up, cosmetic bags, glasses cases, phone cases etc but we are very open to any suggestions you may have of future workshops you

would like us to run.

Apart from the workshops, we will be offering a bespoke curtain making service, curtains can be made to your specifications with either your own fabric or we can order in a fabric of your choice. We can give you a quote for the work required and a 50% deposit will be requested before work is carried out. In addition to this we can also match cushion covers and lampshades to match or compliment your curtain fabric.

Not only will we be offering the workshops and curtain making services, we will also be making products to sell on our new website. Keep tuned in for all new products added.

We have so many more plans that we are currently working on, please keep tuned in to find out more. If you are on social media we will be putting up regular posts, if you are not then please look out for future emails or posters around town advertising future

workshops and events happening.

Last but not least, you might be wondering where does Aniho come from? Aniho is me Anita, Anita Horak shortened for my brand name. All your items will be produced under this label by myself and Jo.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for coming along with us and we hope to see you all someday soon in our new space in The Trinity Centre.

If you want to get in touch, you can phone Anita on 07889 819410 or email kandkdorset@gmail.com

Thank you xx
